She is the granddaughter of Raj Kapoor (legendary actor in India) , daughter of Randhir Kapoor and sister of Karishma Kapoor (popular Bollywood actress). Her family is full of legendary Film Actors. She done law in Mumbai. Her first movie was Refugee released in 2000 with Abhishekh Bachhan. Other films she has acted in are Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai with Tusar Kapoor and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham With hrithik roshan.
