Popular Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor starts her acting career with the film ‘refugees’ in 2000. Refugee became the fifth-highest-grossing film in India in 2000, and Kapoor earned her the Filmfare Award for the best performance as a Female Debut. Then she is acting popular movie such as Bodyguard, Agent Vinod, Three Idiot, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Popular actress Kareena Kapoor was born on 21 September 1980   in Mumbai, India, to the actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita her elder sister Karisma is also an actress. She is the granddaughter of actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor and niece of artist Rishi Kapoor.
As a child she had strong desire to become an actress, and was mainly encouraged by the films of Bollywood actresses Nargis and Meena Kumari. Kapoor, who describes herself as a “very wicked spoilt child”, would frequently dress up in her mother’s clothes and act upon in front of the mirror.Despite her family background, her father did not want that, women may enter the acting profession because he thought it conflicted with the conventional maternal duties and responsibility of women in the family. For this reason there arouse a conflict in her family. Kapoor’s mother left the family with her daughters.After her parents’ taking apart she was raised in Lokhandwala by her mother, who done several jobs to support her daughters until Karisma debuted as an actress in 1991.
In an interview with Vir Sanghvi, Kapoor said that growing up in a household filled with women helped her turn into strong and independent. Following her parents’ reconciliation in October 2007,  Kapoor explained that they “were never officially divorced but lived  separately.”Asked about her relationship with her father, Kapoor remarked “My father is … an important factor in my life. Although we did not see him frequently in our early years, we are a family now”.
Kapoor got admitted Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai, followed by Welham Girls School (a boarding school) in Dehradun. She was a good student and received first-class honors in all subjects except mathematics. After graduation she studied commerce for two years at Mithibai College in Vile Parle (Mumbai). Kapoor then registered for a three-month summer course in microcomputers at Harvard University in the United States. She later developed a curiosity in law, and enrolled at the Government Law College in Churchgate; during this period, she became wrapped up in law books and developed a long-lasting zeal for reading. However, after completing one year Law course Kapoor determined to return to her original plan to become an actress.She began training at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).
